We’re all busier these days with family, work, and social events. So finding time to give back can be a challenge. We found that one of the best ways to add charitable actions to a busy work-life schedule is by directly including it in our lives while in stride. Finding ways to give back does not have to be a chore, it can be fun. For instance, next time you have a party or random family event, ask guests to bring donations for a worthy cause of your choice and then get some guests to help deliver the goods. It's that simple, and why not? Bringing friends and family together for a party is a great excuse to contribute to any charity. And on the flip side bringing friends and family together for a charity is a great excuse to have a party. Don't underestimate the impact you can all make when coming together, giving back, having fun, taking pics, and spreading the word. And of course we want you to take pictures, whether using PhotoSesh or doing it yourself, just get the pics! Because charity is much more contagious when the fun is visible to more people. There's a lot of good samaritans out there, but let's be honest, some of us need these fun reminders and motivations to help more people take action. #DoGood #Giving #GetPics #PhotoSesh #Charity #CP4Homeless

Charity PhotoSesh at the 2017 Crawfish for Cancer NYC Boil
(link to gallery at the bottom)
We had a blast with this special charity PhotoSesh photographing 1000+ people as they chowed down on some good ol' southern cookin. Rain or shine, these young "do-gooders" were in great spirits contributing to a great cause. Money raised was to benefit CFC's mission to help fund research in fighting Multiple Myeloma! What a great organization! Bravo to everyone involved!

About Crawfish for Cancer, Inc.
Started in 2008, Crawfish for Cancer (CFC Inc.) is dedicated to fundraising for multiple myeloma cancer research. By hosting events that cater to young professionals we are able to provide much needed funds in the fight against this currently incurable disease.
The passion for this cause is a result of the founder of CFC, Inc.’s father having had multiple myeloma. Lieutenant Colonel Lorenzo Mayo Crowell, USAF, Retired passed away as a result of multiple myeloma in March 2014.
Multiple Myeloma & the MMRF
Multiple myeloma is a cancer of your plasma cells, a type of white blood cell present in your bone marrow. Plasma cells normally make proteins called antibodies to help you fight infections. In multiple myeloma cancer, a group of abnormal plasma cells (myeloma cells) multiplies, raising the number of plasma cells to a higher than normal level. Since these cells normally make proteins, the level of abnormal proteins in your blood also may go up. Health problems caused by multiple myeloma can affect your bones, immune system, kidneys and red blood cell count
We at CFC, Inc. aren’t qualified to do cancer research; therefore we turn over the success of our efforts to those that are qualified. Since 2009, our success has benefited the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation, donating $400,000 to the MMRF as of 2016.

March of Dimes - March for Babies
A FIGHTING CHANCE FOR EVERY BABY
5-1-16
March of Dimes has an initiative to give a fighting chance for every baby. On May 1, 2015 we had the pleasure of contributing to this worthy cause with a warm invitation from Sabrina Abramson, the Family Teams Chair of the Bergen County March for Babies. This walk was to support programs that help moms during their pregnancies and to fund research to find causes and prevention to various complications that exist. Sabrina herself is a mom to a heart angel and does a lot to offer support to programs like this. We and many others walked for Sabrina and Justin Abramson's group Ella's Fellas named after their heart angel Ella Marie.
For more information on Sabrina, her husband Justin, Ella and their family's story, please read more on this donation page HERE.
We were honored to contribute and play a small role in this fundraising event for such a wonderful cause. PhotoSesh credits go to Ellen Bedrosian and Danny Graham

Great time with great friends at the PhotoSesh reveal party! Had a blast. And the good times were captured by 2 wonderful people within the PhotoSesh community; Ellen and Sean! Some cool iPhone shots mixed with DSLR captures, and even some underwater shots. 5 stars! Thanks everyone for the essentials and food donations. They will be going towards various care packages for the homeless and will be extremely appreciated. Generosity is abundant among our circle of friends and community leaders.
